vmd.molrep.set_colorupdate()

Sets if the representation’s color should automatically update when the frame is changed. Useful for distance based coloring, etc.

Parameters:

• molid (int) – Molecule ID with representation
• rep (int) – Representation index to query
• autoupdate (bool) – If color should automatically update
